Food packaging automation specialist Jenton Ariana has launched its fastest automatic pad placing system for use with thermoforming machines producing plastics trays for the fresh food industry.
The new AutoPad is specially designed to handle pre-cut fully sealed Uni-Dry absorbent pads which are primarily for the packaging of protein, and capable of achieving speeds up to 120 Uni-Dry pads per minute.
It also features adjustable magazines to suit different pad sizes and applications, and Jenton insists that changeover from one size to another takes seconds.
