Social media users have been left stunned at how suitcases are made, and in complete disbelief at how quick and easy it seems thanks to the wonders of modern technology.
The bizarre video footage of how a suitcase is actually crafted was posted on Twitter by @fastworkers6 who frequently publishes interesting clips from 'behind the scenes' on how everyday items are made, and this is definitely one that will surprise you.
Despite believing there is some sort of detailed machinery involved and all sorts of different processes from the shaping of the case, to the zip details and so on - the Twitter revelation couldn't have looked any simpler.

We wouldn't go as far as to say you would craft yourself one at home, but it certainly was impressive how quickly modern technology can work to boost the economy in the sense of bulk processing systems.
The Twitter post said "Suitcase making. This process is called thermoforming," as they attached a clip of the process.
The footage appeared to show the plastic material suitcases are made from blowing up into a big bubble (think chewing gum) before it snaps into shape within a matter of seconds, blink and you will miss it.
It turns out that 'thermoforming' according to an online 'plastic ingenuity blog' is used "to heat a material to its forming temperature and apply force to the hot sheet to push it into cavities.
"A method which is usually typically in the form of an aluminium mould so the material conforms to the shape of that particular configuration."
But one inquisitive Twitter user still had questions as he quipped: "How does the specific design get formed??"
"So the suitcase itself is underneath. The top layer (whatever its made of) is inflated, the suitcase is lifted into bubble, then wraps around as it deflates."
Although impressive, it did leave a few people feeling like they had slipped something in their coffee in the morning.
"This just throws up more questions than got answered..."
One user came to the rescue with a full breakdown of what the clip was showing, and to put those in their place who claimed it "looks so easy" and questioned why the holiday essential item is so expensive to purchase.
"Air pressure is used to blow the hot, soft plastic up. Then a tray underneath with a mould on it raises up. Then the air pressure is reversed to vacuum the plastic tightly to the mold. Then it cools and you have the plastic shell of a suitcase," they explained.
